Creative Body Based Learning at Modbury West Primary School and Alberton Primary School.

In terms 1 and 2 Stephen will be undertaking a project called Creative Body Based Learning (CBL). CBL is an initiative which brings together professional artists, arts workers and educators to facilitate a long term vision to embed arts-based learning experiences in South Australian primary schools to create an environment in which children can make the most of their inherent creative potential. It is a partner project led by Carclew, University of South Australia, and The Department of Education and Child Development and was initiated by the ART Committee. Visiting Assistant Professor Katie Dawson from the University of Texas is training a number of South Australian teaching artists, including Stephen in CBL at Modbury West Primary School and Alberton Primary School.
